Co-led a Blueprint → C++ framework refactor in 2 months for a social VR tabletop platform.
A social VR tabletop platform needed a robust, multiplayer-ready framework. When I entered the project it was built on a Blueprint-only messy codebase that was already hitting architectural limits.
Co-led a project-wide framework refactor from Blueprints to C++ in just 2 months. Developed the core multiplayer VR player pawn, object interaction mechanics and game piece slot and recovery systems. Mentored a team of 4 junior developers, establishing coding standards and replication best practices from the ground up.
Stable framerates on Meta Quest and Steam, a scalable codebase the team can own independently, and 4 junior developers who meaningfully levelled up their technical skills.
